8AM Shadowsby pixelpigComment: This seems quite abstract, but very pretty. It's completely different from the cliche looking shots of the veins in a leaf. Good find. The white isolates the subject but seems to leave something missing about the scene. Have you tried converting the white to black or another solid color with this shot? |

inverted.jpgby CaeclydComment: Excellent! This is a good sharp shot from the perfect vantage point. Getting the people on the ground so perfectly positioned was just superb timing and good fortune. |

Orchard Spider sideby Elvis_LComment: Nice shot! These are so reflective that they are tough little buggers to get a correctly exposed shot like this. |

Old Hanalei School - Shops Day 25by slaaksoComment: It's nice that they kept the historical building. I like the way the drain pipe on the gutter, and the walkway railing point to the entrance in this composition. |

Day 23: Manchester Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI)by ValdoComment: This is quite a place. I would spend a day there if it was not so far away. I enjoyed the huge one in Chicago when I was there long ago, and I would guess that this one would be just as much of a treat.
The monotone pp in this one is very good for the scene. I seem to focus on the palm in the upper window, and wonder if that is a reflection or an illusion created by artwork inside or on the building. |

Jan 26.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: That's a huge building and very much a London skyline trademark. This building was new when I was there for the Scrapheap/Junkyard Wars filming, we all went to a modern pub near the base of the place. It was across a canal over a narrow walkway bridge, and to the left at the foot of the bridge. I can't remember the name of the place, but we had a good time.
This is a good shot for one so early, and while on the move. |
