The trees are pretty in this shot. It certainly looks cold there. I like the little color in the water behind the scene. That curved row of posts looks like an interesting item for a photo subject.

Full Moon Eclipse

This scene looks very nice. It was completely dark here when the eclipse began.
I do the "put it on the vehicle" thing once in a while, and usually put a towel or shirt or something similar under the camera.
Good shot, and good combination of elements with the fountain and trees.

It looks like it was a little hazier (is that a word? ) than it was here in Florida. The stars near the eclipse were Saturn, below the moon, and Regulus above it. It was a fine eclipse to watch here.
Good exposure level to get the detail in the shaded area.

This is very nice. It looks like looking thru an old glass bottle with the bottom cut off. I like the color splash in the center of the grey surrounding swirl.

Don't feel bad. I have one in a current challenge that may show up right next to this in the "lowest rated" images pages.
I see what you were shooting for here, but I think that I would have shot it from the other side, showing the potato, and with a little higher shutter speed. The voters don't seem to vote happy on images that don't have a strong subject that connects directly with the challenge description in their mind when they open the thumb. At least you got this out of the way now, and can get back to going after other ribbons.
