That's an interesting view. It seems odd that it is all orange in color, with no blue flame. It is nice and abstract. I would not have guessed what it was for a while. It thought it was food when I saw the thumb .

That's a flathead "V8" Ford. My grandfather had a 32 Ford pickup truck, and we drove it to go fishing along roadsides in the Florida Everglades when I was growing up. He called the truck "Leapin' Lena." The model "B" Ford was introduced in 32. Here's a link about the motor in your photo. Flathead Ford site
It is difficult to photograph something so shiny when it is in a lot of light like in your shot. It looks good in your image.

That is a sweet shot of the 28 or 29 ford! I see that the hood is open on the driver's side. I would not have noticed if I had not seen it in the reflection in the headlamp.
