This is sweet! I enjoy shooting places like this at sunset. I like the cloud reflections in the water in this image. I generally try to also shoot a very wide shot or two in every sunset session, even going vertical if necessary in order to get some of the sky with blue in it to contrast with the firey sky parts of the image. There are many times that the best photos are 20 to 30 minutes after the actual sunset, so I keep shooting even though the air is full of mosquitoes to get those shots.
This place looks like a place where I would feel right at home.

What a nice surprise! The wide angle view is nice for this, as it adds a sense of the bird being free to fly about if it wants to do so. You had good light, and made an excellent choice to get low to get this shot.

I like the existing lighting look of this shot. It compliments the atmosphere of the pot quietly doing it's thing without too much fanfare.
It looks like good eats are in there.

Decoy

Nice work to arrange the elements to get this shot. It would stand as a good shot and associated title to me, even without the challenge.
Before I saw that it was in a road sign challenge, I connected that it was a decoy to bring buildings (tall vertical things) to the opposite side of the bay. Interesting shot.

Nice timing to get this shot. The processing is interesting. I would try editing out the effect around their heads so that the heads and eyes would be sharper. It's good just as you have it.
