What I find most interesting about this shot is that I can't tell if the deer is looking toward the camera, or away. It gives the shot two different perceptions for me because of that.

I have been waiting a long time to get a good clear shot at one of these. They never seem to get out in the open for me when the light is good.
Exposure is just right in this shot to keep detail in the white.

The Distant Shore

Once in a while a shot like this is refreshing to see. I like the gentle fuzziness of the overall shot. It is fun to try to guess what the subject actually is in this sort of shot as well. I am thinking that it is a pier full of sailboats. You have a knack for adding mystery to your images.
The horizon looks a bit wonky : )
