2-april 09 unconventional. which one doesnt belong?!!by rozComment: Wonderful shot Roz. That behavior is just a doggy thing. My son's Scoobie, a " Jack Daniels Terriorizor" does pretty much the same thing when she is playing. It's sort of a ninja dog attitude for a minute, but it does not seem to amount to much more than show. |

No Trespassingby GermaineComment: That's an interesting shot to me because I would like to know how the mechanical part of the gate latch works. By opening any one of the locks, the gate can be opened. Here it is common to have several locks on a chain so that several people, owner, lessors, power co ect, have access to the pasture.
That looks like a rather ingenious gate latch.
I hope that you were able to get the cow pix that you wanted. |

Seeing Doubleby GermaineComment: Way too cool! I thought it was only one take until I found the horizon near the bottom. I also have trouble remembering to advance the film with my Nikon since I have been shooting digital so long now. |

Macro 16by KenComment: This has nice smooth lines and curves. The light is right, and the BG is soft enough that it does not detract from the form of the main subject. |

Squirril BRURIby rodfulkComment: Good BG. It brings the subject to the forefront nicely. I would crop the right side and top to make it more square, because there is not much going on there. That would also put him facing more into the shot, which helps to engage the viewer's attention. I like the band of brightness across his neck, and that the area is not overexposed. |

guardianby bladComment: Great shot for the high contrast treatment. My abstract impression is that the top of the main trunk with the one odd limb sticking out looks like a sort of cartoon anteater with bulging eyes LOL.
No snow here. |

Horseby bobonacusComment: From this angle, she looks like a pregnant pony : )
Nice toning and good use of the sky for isolation. I like the flare in the hair on the mare too. |

Day 8 - Impressionsby KelliComment: I agree about the border being a little hard. Maybe it could be softened up a little by overlaying a vignette. The image is very pleasing to see, with it's gentle colors and soft focus. |
