palmsby cginoComment: Lovely palms and sky, and the little bits of red give the foreground some interest in this shot. This would be a dangerous place in coconut season LOL. |

Glass Magicby bvlindalouComment: Superb color, and a grabbing graphic composition, with the dark border connecting the viewer with the dark shadow around the oval drop. |

~ Solitude ~ (All Comments Welcome - ACW)by Ja-9Comment: I remember seeing this one in a challenge, and thinking "This looks like Silver Springs but it's short on flowers". The light on the columns adds a lot of interest, and the palm trunks repeating the vertical element of the columns is good too.
The one leaning palm behind the left column sort of disturbs the vertical line of the column in some way, and at the same time, gives the edge of the column something solid in the B G to define it. It's a complex picture, and there are a lot of elements that seem to be not exactly working in unison to bring out a strong subject or make the viewer's eye move through it to a subject. It's a good scene to study. The bright sky in the B G probably dinked the score pretty hard since it was in a F S challenge. |

BearJelly_IMG_6051-DPC.jpgby GeneralEComment: Nice cool colors in this shot. It's interesting that all of the jellyfish are swimming upside down. It must be a current in the aquarium causing them to do that.
That looks a lot like "R" there with the camera. : ) |

caught by the boogeyman ! by rozComment: You have become the "Robber Fly of Blue Ribbons" Roz! : )
That's a "Killer" shot. You have that macro bugs technique perfected. I knew that blue ribbons were in your future here when you posted your first macro shot in a S C and were all excited about getting the new gear.
Congrats my friend. |

Seaside Squirrelby GeneralEComment: This is a different way to say squirrel. It's a nice variation from the usual close up squirrel shots. |

Google "Most expensive photograph" to see what it reminds me of. |
