Sandhill Craneby senor_kasperComment: This is great. Some of the sandhill cranes are pretty tame on this side of the state too. With the DOF, you can't tell that this was shot in town. The feather details are very nice. |

Sunset Fishing Boat (APAW-2)by PGerstComment: Wonderful shot and processing. It looks very natural with the way you got the water bright enough to see good detail in the waves, and kept the sky looking so nice. |

The Twisted Passageby RubberDucky7147Comment: This shot gives me a good impression of the textures, shapes, and light in this sandstone formation. Excellent shot, both in composition and choice of ISO to get shutter speed for sharpness.
Congrats on the "7" !! |

Water Face.jpgby tnunComment: I am wondering what you were shooting if you didn't see this when you were shooting? In any case, it's an interesting coincidence that you got it, and noticed it when you checked the images on screen. Water puppy, how cool. |

e n L I G H T e n e dby michaelmonnComment: This is a unique way to light a shot. It's sort of like painting with light, but with the source in the shot. Composition is great, and I agree that not having the model's face in the shot is good. It's interesting that the tree trunk looks almost like a person with arms lifted. |

mudding3.jpgby DeniseComment: It looks like some big fun going on here! I have found that when shooting mudding shots like this, that it is helpful to get near ground level so that I can get the globs of mud thrown into the air by the tires to show up against the lighter background of the sky. This activity is a popular one here in S W Florida. |

Golden Stemby sherpetComment: This is superb! You find the most interesting little worlds which most people would never notice. I love the way you are not afraid to take an image where you want it to go during processing in order to achieve the sweet colors that your plant shots have. |

Magnolia Blue Velvetby sherpetComment: The invert makes the light in this one just grab my eyes. It's almost like a photograph of the spirit of the flower. |
