Flowers in her hair by PaulComment: The concept for the flowers and spread out hair make this a standout. The rest of the shot is very enjoyable to see, and not overdone. Nice job, and congrats on the ribbon too. |

Solar Eclipse 2by Pug-HComment: In a pinch, the dark glass lens from a welding hood would work nicely as a ND filter for this scene. Most of them are ND 10 or 12, plus a green tint.
I am glad that you had clear sky for the event. |

Outtake - Free Study XVIby loveComment: B&W is perfect for this mix of textures and lines. It works good on several levlels. One is in the contrasts and textures, and the other in the subject matter. The bird is a sort of wild card thing that makes it different from the norm. |

red-wheel copy.jpgby desertoddityComment: It looks like the Sandia tram. Nice angle. Those darn tinted windows LOL. It took me a while to find the right combination to get natural looking colors in photos shot through the gondola windows. |

Sun Haloby alfrescoComment: I feel that I should make a comment, but don't know exactly what to say. Beautiful shot. It was good that you were ready when it happened. |

Sandhill Craneby senor_kasperComment: This is great. Some of the sandhill cranes are pretty tame on this side of the state too. With the DOF, you can't tell that this was shot in town. The feather details are very nice. |

Sunset Fishing Boat (APAW-2)by PGerstComment: Wonderful shot and processing. It looks very natural with the way you got the water bright enough to see good detail in the waves, and kept the sky looking so nice. |

The Twisted Passageby RubberDucky7147Comment: This shot gives me a good impression of the textures, shapes, and light in this sandstone formation. Excellent shot, both in composition and choice of ISO to get shutter speed for sharpness.
Congrats on the "7" !! |
