Fancy Shawlby Luci11eComment: This is a very nice shot. If you use aperture priority and wide aperture aka f2 or 2.8 for this sort of stuff, the background will blur out and put your subject right out front in the image. |

This is the same thing that came to mind for me too. The two even have matching jackets. |

Mar 11 - Chrisby hajekaComment: The f8 brings out the detail in the fur and fabric. Her colors are very similar to those of my cat, Camo Cat. She's keeping and "eye" on you too.
I wonder if they hear the lens focusing with the USM going on. |

Thug Lifeby aprudhommeComment: The alley look with the bit of graffiti and barbed wire fit this. The light spots on the wall add a nice line to the composition too.
Your "thug" is missing tattoos, nose ring, lip ring, shades. 9mm glock,,,,, |

CANCUN PARALLELby silvia228Comment: Even though this looks a little margarita influenced with the tilt, I like it for the leading lines, the color of the water and the water color look of the whole thing. It looks tropical. |

Calla Lilyby GermaineComment: Nicely done background to make the subject look great. It's not your usual big scene shot, but it has your trademark feel to it. |

Wickedby GermaineComment: Should have saved this one for St Patty's day. Just kiddin'. : )
The overlay did rescue this one from the bare wall blahs. |

Ancient Lines and Patternsby pmichaudComment: I had to look at the comments on this one to see what people thought, and I agree. It's one of those shots that would be right at home in Nat'l Geo, or a fine art mag. |

School's Outby kvickreyComment: The thing that grabs me about this image is that her clothes are the only true black in the image. It's a sort of reverse of the usual trick of making the subject the brightest part of the image to get the viewers focus. Congrats on the top 10, the effect works marvelously.
Get her a P&S. |
