Orion's Nebulaby DennisheckmanComment: Well done. I understand how technically difficult and time consuming it is to do this sort of photography. |

Spring is in the airby jgirl57Comment: This one probably got dinged pretty bad as a DNMC kind of image because you were shooting downward .
If you can't get the camera low enough to get the sky, you can use a mirror to get the "shot from the viewpoint of an ant on the ground" look with the sky behind the subject.
The two plant stems going across the frame at the flower also made it sort of busy looking.
The 28mm macro might allow you to get in a lot closer for true "macro" shooting.
Meanwhile, keep shooting. It's interesting to watch your posts as you experiment with learning the different facets of photography.
What you lack in technical skill, you more than make up for with your enthusiasm. : ) |

Oniby beatabgComment: Beautiful use of the frame and light to get this. The whole scene pivots on the bright face. |

Abandonedby LinMalAngComment: Abandoned, and in an isolated looking location as well. That looks like a very harsh place to try to live. I like the lack of color for what you were trying to portray. |

Froth n Bubbleby jomariComment: The big one in the middle makes it happen.
Foam is such an ordinary but extraordinary thing if you think about all the forces and principles at work shaping the bubbles.
B&W makes you focus on form and composition in this.
It would look cool to try something like this with well lit, brightly colored objects, or maybe foil wrapping paper below the layer of bubbles.
The reflections of the windows are captivating in the way they are in every bubble and at so many different sizes. Message edited by author 2015-01-18 01:08:29. |

02 - Woodby hajekaComment: This is very "tactile" looking. It seems like something worth touching, just to see what it feels like.
