Nice angle to this shot. I'm afraid though that it might get dinged in score because it's so small in size. Try using the full 800 pixels on one side (in this case, the height). Voters tend to score low and smaller pictures.

Absolutely BRILLIANT in every way! A real piece of art! Hope that you're going to frame it because it's a real piece of artwork. Congrats!

ETA: This type of photographic work would be EXCELLENT for children's books and magazines as illustrations! You might want to send some of your pieces to a publishing company and see if they are interested in you doing some freelance work for them. You could be a children's book and magazine collage illustrator! Seriously! :)

Love the story behind this one. :) Reminds me of a guy in Barbados who said that for $10.00, he'd climb a tree and pick a coconut. So, my dad handed him $10.00 and he climbed the tree and tossed the coconut down and said...."For $10.00 more....I'll come down again." My dad looked at him and replied..."Nah, that's ok. You can stay up there," and walked away. LOL

Actually, it was the end result of spending a couple of hours using that oriental spoon above the wine glass to capture some form of interesting "splash shot" that's so famous to DPC ribboners.

In giving up, I simply dropped the oriental soup spoon into the glass and shot it. It amazed me that the bubbles had formed in the water and on the botton of the glass and sides. In complete frustration out of the hours that I'd spent on this stupid shot, I entered it anyway.

I should really have just done this in the first place! LOL ;) It would have saved time and a mess and still ended up being better score wise than when I have really tried hard!
