Storm-Over-Plateau-2301.jpgby Monique64Comment: wonderful feeling of wide open spaces in this shot. I love the colours of the scrub land and the shape of the hills.
Are the storm clouds really that blue ? it is a pleasing colour combination with the foreground , but would probably look more dramatic if the clouds were darker.
Nice shot. |

24by sevilduvarciComment: Sevil, I really like this shot. You've managed to capture an intimacy in what is clearly an open public spac.
Good B&W conversion, and finished off with a nice frame. Good work. |

lion's-roar.jpgby JewellianComment: Nice capture.
As the background is such a similar tone to the Lion I think it might make the image stronger if you were to darken the background to make this Majestic beast stand out more.
You might want to check the title spelling as well :- )

Indigoby GermaineComment: I can see why you wanted to take the shot - it looks like a delightful evening and a lovely view. I do have to agree with Ian -Andrew about the noise in the sky though.
Maybe a bit of noise reduction and all round tighter crop might help bring out the best in this.

Becks on the beach.... What could be better?by bs-photosComment: Nice shot - I also didn't realise it was selective Desat - so maybe it's as well you didn't enter it for that challenge :- )
I wonder whether it would benefit from a slightly wider crop to one side ?
Nice colours and nice DoF though. |

_MG_6255_kleur.jpgby lowonenergyComment: Ah - an update on the tragic story of the Human /Labrador hybrid, who escaped from the labs.
He was unheard of until his Birthday the following year, when he sent the scientists a picture of himself with a few of his thoughts towards the scientist on display for all to see.
He was last heard of working as a guide dog for a blind person, which allowed him a warm bed each night and unlimited kibbles along with no questions asked by his unseeing owner . .
Or am I mixing up two different stories here ?
