Thanks Sandy - it was actually one of three I considered putting into the Desat (another was 'Following the land'), but I chose to remove the number plate details (license plate?) for privacy as much as appearance, and wasn't sure whether I would have broken the editing rules with that simple action. spideyby yankoComment: Great crop - looks like he's just about to launch into a gymnastics routine : )
eta think I would have preferred a border that reflected the spiders colours rather than the backgrounds. Might just be me though.

Day 26 - Jagby CapeSailComment: A handsome Jag, that's a long way from home :- )
Good shot, love the way it fills the frame. |

AS_Small041.jpgby mobsterComment: Nice clear capture, great colours, and good shutter speed to just catch enough movement on the prop.
Technically this might well benefit from a slightly different crop to move the plane more towards the top left of the frame.

Li'l Pby yondermanComment: Sweet dog who has obviously made itself very comfortable on the bed :- )
I think Yorkies can have the most wonderful range of colours in their fur, and possibly the best way to bring that out is via natural light. Here it looks like you have used a flash and the lighting is a little hard which has taken away some of the colour and texture from his (her?) fur.
While I'm sure this is a nice reflection of your dog at home, to appeal to a wider audience the picture would benefit from a tighter crop, gentler lighting and simpler background.
Hope that is of some help. |

Symmetry Yellowby sherpetComment: Shez, I think this series is really strong and could see them decorating the walls of trendy new apartments.
Vivid colours, and strong organic shapes.
Looking good to me. |

Storm-Over-Plateau-2301.jpgby Monique64Comment: wonderful feeling of wide open spaces in this shot. I love the colours of the scrub land and the shape of the hills.
Are the storm clouds really that blue ? it is a pleasing colour combination with the foreground , but would probably look more dramatic if the clouds were darker.
Nice shot. |

24by sevilduvarciComment: Sevil, I really like this shot. You've managed to capture an intimacy in what is clearly an open public spac.
Good B&W conversion, and finished off with a nice frame. Good work. |

lion's-roar.jpgby JewellianComment: Nice capture.
As the background is such a similar tone to the Lion I think it might make the image stronger if you were to darken the background to make this Majestic beast stand out more.
You might want to check the title spelling as well :- )
