Beauty in pinkby ScapeshotsComment: Flamingo's are such photogenic animals - lovely colours and very graceful.
You have a nice colourful flamingo here enjoying the sunshine and a quick paddle which is nice and relaxed. For me, this shot would be stronger if the background was less cluttered. This obviously isn't always easy to achieve, but it does help through the viewer back to the bird and away from stray logs and cement walls.
If it was just the bird, the water, and the plant this would have been even better. |

Beautiful Mothby MoatzComment: Ah - is that a Hummingbird Hawk Moth ? Good capture and I think the motion blur on the wings adds to this. Perhaps the focus could have been a tiny bit crisper on the moth ? |

All That Jazzby kcumanComment: Very atmospheric and moody. Really nice.
The only suggestion would be to lose the black thing to the left middle which spoils the outline of the trombone.
Otherwise a great shot. |

Tigerby marboComment: What a sweet kitten . .
The only thing to improve this for me would be to include his paw and the top of his ear.
Otherwise great focus and lovely catch lights. |

Crossby andrea22_alsComment: Maybe the title should read '3 Crosses' ?
Very interesting effect but the black line on the rear wall is too distracting for me. crop that out and this would be a different picture. |

Colorful Cansby rkligmanComment: Certainly a different idea. Colourwise you have the strongest colour inthe middle which is a good idea, and also appears to be the focal point. This prevents the eye being drawn away to some corner.
Will this have the special something to capture votes here ? I suspect not. Does this mean it's a bad photo ? Certainly not.
You have captured an every day scene, creatively used DoF, and got a good range of colours. This could be a good 'stock shot'.
Well done. |

On A Clear Day...by atsxusComment: Delightful looking scenary, with really nice hills for a backdrop.
I think I might have lost some of the foreground on this. The picture has a nice background (hills), nice middle (lake), and a bit of a beach scene going on in the left, all of which is nice, while the immediate foreground is just scrubland really, so (in my opinion) tends to detract rather than add to the overall image.
That said - what a great looking place :- ) |

San Francisco de Asisby nowhohaComment: Tremendous looking building !! The slightly washed out look to the picture helps to convey a sense of heat, dessert and isolation - but I suspect that's it not any of those :- )
My only nitpick is the red building behind the trees drawing the eye away. Otherwise nice shot. |

Mr. Buzzby keoneComment: Now that's what I call a close up . .
Very good shot, and extra points for getting him to tell you his name . . I can never get these things to talk to me - they just fly off :- ) |
