Nanaby kaustinphotoComment: a nice idea - I think to really get the full potential of this we really neede to see more of the people behind her so we got more of the 'crowd' feel |

No Parking Any Timeby nixterComment: you've certainly captured the alone - but I'm not sure about the crowd - I think you really neede to include more than just their legs. |

Wood this do?by superclaryComment: I'm sorry if I'm being a bit thick here - but I'm really struggling to see what's alone here, and what crowd it's alone from ?
I did wonder if it was the metal winch - but there are other metal tools on the wall . . and I wondered if it was the wooden tub in the middle but there are two other tubs as well . . Interesting workshop though. |

Shake those pom poms!by quiet_observationComment: quite a nice portrait, but it's hard to really see the crowd, and very odd has happened to the face of the girl behind her which is a little distracting. Quite a nice capture of the main girl though and I like the B&W conversion. |

unexpected flying objectby sudarsarComment: not a bad idea, but the bird tends to get lost in the picture as it is so small and you don't seem to have used the maximum image size either, which makes everything smaller again.
In an ideal world if you could have got essentially the same shot but the bird with a bit of sun lighting up it's plumage, in among the flowers (so they formed the backdrop instead of the fence) and cropped it in a bit tighter I think this could have been a really eyecatching shot.
but hey - wildlife and weather rarely co-operate :- ) |

Autumn Swanby Art RoflmaoComment: Absolutely love the title !
(We'll ignore the fact that it's lost it's head and full of bullet holes . . hey maybe it's a tough neighbourhood . .)
Seriously though, nice shot.

Two girlsby MelethiaComment: This is a nice shot - and a particularly nice shot of the main girl, as it has captured an enchanting smile. I sure there isn't always a lot to smile about out there at the moment - but someone as young as this needs to be able to smile both for the sake of her own future and her countries.
edit to add that the more I look at this the more I like the impish smile of her younger friend as well.
This is a really nice shot. Message edited by author 2007-12-02 14:20:26. |

Lady in Waiting alt cropby MelethiaComment: Deb, I actually prefer this crop of the two of them - the only picky picky thing for me is I would like to see the dark bar on the right of the picture cloned out as it distracts a little from this very striking young lady.
Great detail. |
