Just Another Flowerby vladoComment: I really like this shot. The crop, the processing and the composition.
Certainly it could have had a greater DoF to include the centre of the flower . . it could also have had more bighting sharpness . . but as Melethia says - there is a lovely gentleness about this picture which is aided by the toning.
My only nitpick is your title. For me titles are always important, (not that I'm great at them before you look) but they give the viewer an idea of what you are trying to capture and convey . . the message you want them to take away, or a context / framework to position the image in, even just a factual description of the object.
While this title may well have been intended as gently self depreciating, there is always a danger that it suggest you don't really care - and you know what ? If the artist doesn't really care - then why should the viewer ? You have a good range of titles on your other shot's and I think a shot as nice as this deserved more than 'Just another flower' ;- )

DSC_8521-copy-2.jpgby zackdezonComment: Nice lighting and conversion.
I really like these poses and composition - but as has been said befroe (and I know it's only a personal taste) but I don't think the bra works in these. Perhaps something a little simpler ? Maybe more of a crop top ? To be honest I'm not sure, but I think the item in question looks a little too fancy for the setting and so it catches the eye for the wrong reason. Keep it simpler and keep the focus on your model :- )
Good series of shots. |

DSC_3490.jpgby zackdezonComment: I really like the visual counterpoint here of a pretty girl in a flowing dress set against the distinctly unglamorous setting of (what looks like) an underground parking lot. The soft and gentle against the functional and utilitarian, a splash of colour against drab surroundings.
Very nice.
eta the overhead strip lighting is reminiscent of light trails left by passing cars which adds a whole other level of latent dynamism to this. Message edited by author 2009-07-26 07:40:09. |

Curvesby MelethiaComment: I like the textures and curves on this - but it has quite a pinkiish tinge on my screen, is that deliberate ? |

In stepby MelethiaComment: I love these tiny vignettes that show moments of symmetry.
Two individuals lost in their own worlds walking along the same sidewalk at the same time in the smae direction. |
