Thr crop is probably a little tight here as is the DoF.

This means that there isn't a lot of headware in the shot ot begin with, and what there is isn't really in focus.

Very good idea - and I love the capture of the water . . but this doesn't quite work for me and I'm not sure why . .

It might be the crop . . it might have worked better with colour . . but it just seems (for me at least) that this could have been even better, even stronger, with more punch and zing (whatever they are) :- )

. . yet I still like it.

I wonder whether or not you could/ should have used some black body paint around the visible skin to further accentuate the eyes - but you know what ? I don't really care.

The idea is good - but perhaps the picture is a little 'busy' which distracts the viewer ?
