Moonlight by gisliComment: Good photo, dramatic subject and perspective, but the lower half is so dark it creates a tension with the upper cloud, that the mountains, if that is what they are, lose out. |

White Balance by gsalComment: Stunning composition and subject. I particularly like the variations in all the blues. |

Lowtideby nico_blueComment: Arresting. Great sky drama balanced by low tide blobs and reflexions, and very interestingly lit row of sedges(?) and tree outlines separating them. |

Reflections Golden on a Pondby whitewolfComment: The colours of the reeds and the similarly coloured squiggley reflections are very pleasing - I like both squiggles and reeds - but the deep blue at the bottom makes too much of contrast. |

Soap Bubbleby patryComment: Such a nice soap bubble, so obediently sitting on the carafe; a shame about the blah background. Do it again in a window or outside, wind permitting. |

Wadingby ButterflyGirlComment: Nice heron. Sun's path on water just a bit too blown, but the mood is good. |

Driftwoodby basicentryComment: Stunning: both rich and subtle. The structure of this picture rests on the white/whitish verticals of the tree trunks and their reflexions. The flow of orangy red from left to right seems to enhance this structure. I'm not too sure of the topmost line of sky: what about cropping it just down to where the first wisps of cloud appear in the centre? |

Autumn Solitudeby DrAchooComment: Stunning composition, but I'm stymied as to how the back of the leaf could be reflected. |
