picture of vulnerability. that wisp of hair, not quite a comb over, the untrendy short sleeves. and yet: there is a companion, and possibly there will be champagne in the bucket. we don't know. just a man, almost alone in by a window with just the suspicion of a view of sea and sky. iteration of squares/diamonds in the shirt, the floor the cushioned seat back - possibly that is what you saw. he belongs.
