Holds some kind of power... You have great sense of line/geometry, and now it is balanced by the gravitas of your subject. (I wonder if that balance would be a little more dynamic if you cropped a bit off the right - you'd lose some of your friend's shadow, and make the corner centered which you may not want).

Very moving. Postures just right AND they make a most pleasing composition. I like the processing, and even without the title, which is excellent, it evokes certain paintings of early operating theatres.

This picture just goes on and on.... Sort of a contemporary pieta by the master of light and dark. You make us see exactly, and savour the moment because of the sheer visual pleasure of the composition. Or maybe I should just say this is a 15.
