Going..Going...Gone!by PrismComment: Love the colours and framing. Subject a bit soft, but the sequence is cool - rather a coup to get that one in flight. |

Heldby notesinstonesComment: Real beauty, real humanity, real people. The eyes. This must be a really fine photo because the face painting/ersatz tattoos take nothing away, and if they add something I am not aware of it - rather a mystery and a triumph. |

Day 4: Heronby bobonacusComment: Sigh. I have herons very close by but can never get close enough with my equipment for this kind of detail. Nice treat to see the eye and that curvy top feather(?) hanging down. Great lighting and DOF to render his body curves against the bg. |

Day 5: Swan Lunch, Not Swan Lake!by bobonacusComment: Very nice horizontals and verticals. Placement of the 2 swans and the near and far segments/stripes of grass! Nice coordinating greens of trees and grass. (I think I would crop out tree on left and the foregrass up about an inch, just to make the most of the good compositional elements you already have). |

"Where's your ball?"by Bear_MusicComment: It almost works. Two problems IMHO: the background is slightly too contrasty/busy and the ball is either too subtle or not subtle enough for the idea to come across. And overall the colours are not DPC- pleasing. I like the idea and the dog. (Only because you asked). |

Sunset Seasonby JulietNNComment: I like this for its minimalism. (You practice minimalism extremely well). What is minimal is the stuff on the horizon. Like your My Girl. So in my view the stuff at the bottom being so finely and minimally done can handle the almost outrageous drama of the sky. So, also like My Girl, this is a painting where the drama/essence is in the depiction. |
