Illustrated Word: 080304by cginoComment: Though I think each can stand on its own, they are a fine fit. Your suggestion of moon by way of the lighting is subtlety indeed. (And I didn't know this fine Yeats poem, which suggests possibly more kitty pictures?) |

leaf manby tnunComment: Two different but similar poems, demonstrating the varying effects of different POVs (photographers should write poems more often!). In line with Don's proposal.
roz's reminds me I had thought of putting it into the misunderstanding challenge, but couldn't think of a title.
So, very thank you. T |

Chopieby neophyteComment: Among so many fine dog portraits, this one seems to stand out just a bit further in revealing the dog. Mostly to do with the way the amber eyes are surrounded by such an expanse of darkening brown. Background perfect of course for the dog. (If I see another picture as good as this one of these soulful hounds I may have to break down and get one. 130 shots worth it). |

Harleyby tooterComment: Deceptively straightforward portrait. White background and sharpened details of Harley's fur perfectly suit the kind of dog he is. Shiny brown eyes make accessible an almost intimidating stance, especially from this effective POV. |

I Want In NOWby colorcarnivalComment: Wonderful: your sharp focus totally suits Coco's, and the serious balance in this photo. Glad to see she's looking so good, too. |

Looking Upby timfythetooComment: Fine composition and colour, very rich and clean. POV raises this a few notches. |

The Sittingby CutterComment: This has a lot of weight. Serious portraiture and serious art. |

SMILE by ZeppKashComment: When I saw this (no vote this challenge) I knew it was game over. No one has a right to have such a beautiful and talented dog, and even to line up the lines on the tennis ball with his left lip. (Lip details add a lot). Nice cross-breed, too. |
