Lighting Shopby mkirdalComment: Lovely lighting and colour tones. Together with the dark figure a sense of mood beyond what is seen. |

Someday, When i grow upby sauravsahaComment: This is quite a moment! And the boy's face reflected in the dark half of the female's curiously bifurcated upper garment, almost balancing the patterns on the other half. Quite a photo. |

Chocaholicby mikeeeComment: Another picture that provokes a reaction: will someone please take one of those yummy round confections and quickly pop it into the moppets mouth! |

Harvey Nicholsby JimiRoseComment: My reaction to this is emotional: it fills me with angst and dread for our cold urban glitzy consumer world. The angles and reflections you have shown so well together with that cold metallic blue reinforce this feeling. |

Looking up to Versaceby edmengComment: I certainly agree with Melethia about the composition and lighting, but if I had to choose one word it would be faery's "elegance." |

Two Gentlemen of Yorkby e301Comment: Love the postures, the drape and wrinkles of the clothes, all the comments AND the felicitous marriage of photo and title. |

I wasn't looking!by Covert_OddityComment: This certainly caught my eye. Like Vikram's shot, this has two worlds and the intriguing effect of 2 different kinds of lighting which you really did pull off. |

Symbiosis: The Seller & The Soler by WeJayComment: Vikram, this is stunning. The yellow area of the shoe shop, and the orange area about the shoe mender, and the radically different lighting in each, are what set this up for me, so that I can play the two against each other. The shoe mender by himself - his posture on the box against the textured background is a picture in itself. Great complexities indicated, sharpness not required. |

The Little Match Girl by faeryComment: It is your model's expression that carries this beyond the chocolate box. (Loved the notes).
ETA: Details and lighting just the right degree. Message edited by author 2009-01-06 00:21:36. |
