Texture 3 day 2.jpgby slaaksoComment: I never in a million years would have guessed this was stained glass! I was thinking it was another cave shot or shallow frozen water...It is very beautiful. |

Texture 2 Day 2.jpgby slaaksoComment: I really like this one too, but for some reason the first one is my favorite of the two. I just realized from your comments that this was in a cave....I'm surprized that you were able to get 1/30 at ISO 200 even at f2. It doesn't look like flash was used so was this just in the entrance to the cave or something? The lighting is great. |

Amythestby pjangelComment: I would never have thought of taking a texture shot of something so smooth, but it really is nice. I love the muted colors too. I don't know if this is full frame straight out of the camera, but if you cropped any or will in the future I would crop out the bright areas in the upper right. |

04 - Orange Flowersby ErikVComment: The textures on this one are so delicate and beautiful I would love to see a close up. My favorite aspect of this shot though is the flowers that are cropped off on the edges. I'm sure that breaks all kinds of rules, but it is so pleasing and works so good in your shot. Especially the one in the upper right corner as it really keeps your eye from straying off the photo. Wonderful photo! |

Frosted Leavesby HipychikComment: Awesome shot and beautiful as is or as an overlay later...The "pseudo HDR" processing really works great on this. Really stunning photo that would look great as a huge print on a wall. |

Half a Doorby BAMartinComment: Very nice warm and inviting tones...kinda contrasting to the not so inviting home. The really really dark window on the left creates an inbalance, but other than that I really like this composition. |

Zzzzzzip (2)by karmatComment: Definitely got great textures here and works very well as b/w. I agree with slaakso that a greater dof would have increased the amount of the in focus textures....

Skin (1)by karmatComment: I agree the contrast in tone and texture really makes this an interesting shot! You should consider a texture overlay for the background although the b/w conversion did does look nice.... |
