I love the colors of this one and I'm surprized at the softness of those blues in contrast with the harsh lighting. I would expect them to be more saturated than this which lends to the overall effect of "oldness" in the photo.

Great textures! Was this a planned leaf print or a natual occurance I wonder? My only nitpick is to have a little more space around the leaf and not have such a tight crop.

Great lighting and textures. I love the grass bursting out of the rocky ground which really adds additional interest to this.

Awesome capture! I love the contrast that you've gotten in the sand, and you really feel the textures.

Edit to add, the modeling shadows in the upper left corner really add a lot to this shot. I'm thinking if you every get a chance to redo this you should place some more of those in the other corners! Also, that looks like a face on the right side - two eyes and a nose.

Ha ha! Very funny comment and image! That water looks really bad in a lovely - coffee drinker's pleasing - kinda way :)

Strange but I like that "thing" comeing out of the water in the center..This is a really interesting photo to look at!

Very nice detail on this bark! You know I just love bark and this is a fantastic addition! When I first saw it I thought it was paper textures with hair or something. Very interesting.

Awsome colors and I'm very glad you shared this with us! I love the fact that you can see the stones under the water which makes the water look so cold and clean! I love the mixture of textures too. Those golden highlights are amazing as well! Great capture.

Day 11: Roses

An amazing arrangement of colors and textures! Vibrant is one thing that comes to mind when I see this. The one in the lower right looks like the beauty that I commented on earlier....Perhaps the only thing that I don't like to much is the smaller roses seem a bit out of place. You can see too much of the leaves in the two little pink roses and the ones in the lower right corner seem to lack the vibrance of the others.
