Great job on your spider! I love your web and that is what I wanted on my spider! I'm jealous of your spider :) Really, it draws your eyes into the photo and subject. The bokeh in yours in my humble opinion is also distracting (like mine). The detail in your spider is awesome!

Let me clarify, it is the pattern of the web I didn't like...It is a chaotic web and I wanted a calm web :) LOL. I like the detail. Thanks for the great comment (and thanks to everyone commenting like crazy in this side challenge!)

Edit to add I just went and checked out hajeka's spider and that is the kinda of pattern I wanted. It really draws your eye in torward the subject. I guess I can't change my model's behavior though LOL.

Wow! That is a truly wonderful b/w. One of my favorites of this side challenge! The tonal range maybe could have been boosted a little with some darker tones for contrast (like your outtake), perhaps burning the driveway, but it is still a wonderful photo! I love the leading lines and perspective. And that arrow pointing your eye right back to the subject...just amazing!

Very beautiful! I love the overall "feeling" of this and the great contrast. I wonder if it would have looked better with the entire plant in focus? Might not have been possible, but I think it would have had more impact. Regardless it is a wonderful capture. I would love to see this printed on a poster and hung on a wall!

This looks like such a fun shot! It is very interesting because the pose is like a mug shot, but then the lighting is so good and you look beautiful...makes for a very fun and interesting photo!

I love this composition...you have made it interesting with both tonal quality and by using a strong diagonal composition. I also love the fact that there are cows in the back! Really tells a story of rural life. Thanks!
