This would be much better if the lighting would not have been so harsh. I don't know how late or early the zoo is open but softer morning/evening or overcast light would be better. The expression is cool. How did you post-process this? it looks a tad oversharpened.

Technically this is good but it could have been made much better by getting down closer to the perspective of the duck. With this "I'm human and looking down on you" perspective there is no communication between the bird and the viewer. The way it is, is just kind of a so-so shot. Doesn't really hold your interest at all.
