Abstractions #004by rooumComment: This is kind of spooky in a way. When I first saw it, it reminded me of the aliens from the original "War of the Worlds" movie. I like the grain and the blur - really enhances that alien movement :D |

1st 2nd 3rdby nivlekComment: I've seen pictures of these birds so many times at DPC - I hope to get to photograph them one day. I love how they are hamming it up for you - I can't believe how close you can get. The one on the left makes me laugh - looks like he is getting all macho for the camera :D |

sharing.jpgby vawendyComment: I love it! It has this fun 50's feel to it. I need a trained cat like this lol. I think the grain is perfect. The only thing that takes away from the nostalgic feel is the modern buttons on the dishwasher lol. But you gotta go where the cat is :) |

Week 4 - Miriam Sullivanby jasonlpriceComment: How far do you live from Hattiesburg? I might have to stop by and see the master at work when we are there in March lol. Those eyes are so big and adorable. I love the black and white treatment. I'm also fascinated by the OOF background. Is that a bowling alley? |

Week 5 --Around the House -- Living Jewelsby dtallaksonComment: Such a beautiful and graceful shot. I love how you caught them gliding over each other.
Edit - I forgot to add this. When I use Topaz, I do a layer of Topaz Denoise first. I use the SRAW Normal filter. Then I go on and use Topaz Detail. If the Topaz software creates any extra noise in areas I wanted clean, I just mask it out! Message edited by author 2010-02-14 09:34:28. |
