Lost in Thought (a.k.a. Where can I find a Quarter?)by bcrantsComment: I like that there are more elements than just grass in this one. I can't totally tell but it looks like there's too much sharpening plus extra noise reducer to over compensate for it. This makes it look overprocessed in that sense. |

Full focus/Re-Focusby rodfulkComment: I like that she is smiling in this one but I think the original is better. I'd like to have seen this as a vertical portrait that would not cut off so much of her face. The pixelation is too high (or it was too noisy of a photo) and maybe there is some blur? I hope you put in your photog notes what you wanted to change for this time around - I'm curious to read about it. |

Siena 2by JudiComment: Funny that you did this. I like that your model looks so much more real than the original. I miss the softness of the original. This is a great interpretation but that square object that she is resting her cheek on doesn't flow with the rest of the curvy material. |

Memoriesby wei1108Comment: Is this supposed to be similar to "Fisherman's Memories"? I'll assume so - but I see that is not a first entry. Feel free to correct me. Great slice of life capture. |

The Glass Shard IIby freakin_hilariousComment: wow this is pretty darn close to the original. the shards look about the same so maybe this is indeed freakin_hilarious. If it is, I think it is funny that you still have this glass :)
I like your take on this. The edgier colortone seems to suit the piece. I like how the focus on the glass seems to be sharper too. Nice re-do. |

Boom Boom Boom Boomby gyabanComment: wow you chose a tough one to redo - a ribbon winner! maybe this is gyaban himself since the type of lighting is similar. what i like about this one compared to the original is that the focus seems to be more on the drops instead of the cup (as is in the original). i like how the color of light is a great contrast to the color of the cup. |
