Funny - I was just at a zoo a couple of weeks after you posted this and I took a lizard shot as well. Well it was an animal as part of the kimodo dragons display. Yours turned out better. I like that you can still see details on the skin and that it's eyes are watching you.

i thought that was ancient symbolism too. this is different and i do not know what my reaction would have been in the challenge - i didn't vote so i didn't look! but, well, i guess i have an idea now of what to do with some toothpics lol. Anyway, this is very creative - I would never have thought to put this all together in one pic.
