Day 11 - Woody Horse

I like using mag lites for pics. I think I used something a little bigger than that for my tomato pic. The effect here for use in black and white gives some energy to the horse. The only thing different I think I'd like to see, if possible, is a tad more contrast to get the horse to pop out some more. (However, my screen colors are screwy at the moment so it could just be me.)

You ought to try a pic where you use reflections to your advantage. From the thumbnail, it looked almost like your glass had steam or mist swirling about it. That would be a fun effect to create!

I don't really understand how impressionism is defined so I cannot say much about how this photo relates to the challenge topic. I like the composition with the main flower kind of popping out ahead of all the others. (Really it looks like it almost has a 3-D effect) That flower also has wonderful variations of red, yellow, and orange colors.

Hi Charlene! I did not vote in this challenge as I still don't really have a good idea of what truly is a photographic impressionistic interpretation. In this, I do like the zoom blur on the right and then the contrast of oranges, yellows, and greens. The colors here really do catch your attention. A very pretty photo!

lol a fish eye lens for a seafood meal? Nice arrangement of the plates and I love the serious look on the chef. Lighting came out really good in the photo.

I gave this a 6. I liked the fish eye effect forcing the bokeh to curve around the subject. I would like to have seen a litle more focus on the grapes in the foreground. Glad to see a part not affected by the fires.
