Through the Railings and O'er the Thames Big Ben Liesby jonfrommkComment: Well, i did not think this was a sub-5 image - I gave it a 6. I liked the colors you captured and that the tower really jumps out of the picture. I agree about the red light at the right, but I do not think there is much you can do about it other than considering a bigger crop off the right. |

Inner peaceby seeComment: lol - that must have been one quite exciting air show!
When I saw this during the challenge, I thought it was someone in the middle of a meditation or a chant. I like the lighting and the glow on his face. Interesting photo! |

Joe's run off to Fire Lakeby skewsmeComment: Darn - I meant to come back and comment on this during the challenge. Love the color and the reflection. I like that almost-circle you got on the right. It's so cool how the leaves on the water now look like floaty things in the sky. |

The Wind Gently Blowsby SaraRComment: I love how your splotchy red bokeh matches the red patches of leaves in the foreground. Nice tribute to the end of a season. |

Tarmacby jaysonmcComment: Beautiful photo. I love how the vertical lines are complemented by the lines of the chairs. Great timing with the one plane in the upper left square. And the black and white processing is awesome! |

Praying to the last horizonby bmartuchComment: Too bad this scored low - I would have expected higher for this one. I love the road leading past the church and into the horizon. Looks like such a lonely and desolate place. |

From the airby MelethiaComment: Wow, Deb, what am amazing job you did with the editing! The light and shadows create this underwater feel - it's very cool. Love the color gradient too. Congrats on your new 3rd best and a top 10 in the Free Study! |
