Very pretty! I'm going to have to get out to the metroparks. FYI - there's a lot running around the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge too. I love the contrast of the browns against the white background. It was very nice of them to stop and pose for you like this. :)

Forgotten Benches

Very nice in black and white. I like the lone one in the foreground and the others in the background. The arch of the bridge(?) in the background is a nice complement to the arched supports of the benches.

I didn't get to finish voting so I am glad I am seeing this now. It's gorgeous! I love the different color shades of the sky. I love that the tree is arching over to fill the top of the frame. And the streaks of light are very cool. Great catch!

You must have had a great time photographing animals like this. I would love to do that some day. I think my favorite part of this is how it looks like the horn is glowing. It has such a beautiful and rich golden color. I love the details you can see on it too.

I think mist/fog/clouds and trees are such a beautiful and mystical combo. I like the perspective as I get a feeling of really having to tilt my head back to look up. I agree about the crooked branch adding some interest, because it breaks away from the stick-straight patterns of all the other trees. Great shot.

You know, I was sure you were from Michigan and then I was going to comment on how amazing it is that there's no ice on the lake lol. So I see you were lucky to have taken this in a much warmer climate :) I loved the blue, gray, and brown tones of this shot. Including the lone person is a nice enhancement to the mood of the scene.

The title was actually the first thing to catch my eye today. We have terrible flooding going on in our area now. It is nice to see this scene with the smooth and calm waters. I love the colors of the sky and the starburst lights are a very pretty addition to the photo.
