I didn't vote on this challenge but would have given this a 9. lovely lighting and meets the challenge perfectly. For me it wouldn't work without the smoke and the shadows. Not sure if colour would have worked as well!

Thingfish thankyou for your comment this was taken at wakkerstroom on the Mpumalang kwazulu natal border the mountain is called ossewag wakkerstroom is 150 years old .
emily this looks grainy even to the naked eye! Perhaps i should have blurred it all i did was run it through Redynamix at default settings. dont know if that counts as overproccessing
