Your composition is good nicely framed and tells a story, but it is slightly out of focus.
Colours are a bit soft but overall pleasing with the blues on father and son coming out very well!
Your perspective is very good giving the impression of a very long walk for father and son! you have also captured a good amount of detail both in the light and shadows.

Composition: I like the way that you have cropped this,although it gave me vertigo! I hope you were not really so close to the edge!
Exposure good
Desaturating all but the red channels has given the image a sense of oldness and having withstood the ravages of time!
