Call Of The Wildby chip_kComment: I would have preferred a looser framing, with more of the deer's (elk's?) habitat visible. Nonetheless, a strong entry. |

Loneby skewsmeComment: Fabulous pose, and quite intimidating! I am glad you didn't crop in too tight, and left plenty of the background to give context to the shot. I could imagine seeing this as an illustration in a wildlife book - good work! |

Venus di Miloby EstimatedEyesComment: This one of my 10s; to my mind this is an exceptional photograph, and one I shall come back to view again and again. I am very suprised to see that it hasn't ranked higher. |

Night Watchby tjmuellerComment: Compositionally the photo seems a little unbalanced. I wonder if it might be better with the area to the right of the tree cropped out? |

Vivid Decayby InClearViewComment: This is seems to be a good record shot of an interesting find, but on a photographic level it doesn't speak out to me in any way. |

Dribbleby PGerstComment: I think this is a case of a photograph meaning far more to the parents and family of the subject than to the casual - or serious - viewer. A sweet expression on the babies face, though. |

Lion Eyesby sonygirlComment: This is one of those shots that almost certainly means more to the parents of the child than it possibly can to an unrelated viewer. Focus apears to be just in front of the child's face - there would be much greater impact if the sharpest focus was on the child's eyes. |
