There are lots of these on the Yorkshire coast - I love the way that at dusk they will rush about the beach in flocks, almost as though they were little mice! This is a lovely portrait of a Turnstone; I particular admire the way you have included just the right amount of background to provide context and some indication of the bird's habitat.

This is stunning. I did think of going out to a photogenic site in the countryside, but decided I didn't fancy being on my own much. In the end I'm glad I didn't because, from Yorkshire at least, the moon when in shadow had very little colour. Good to see you get the real red - neat.
