Aahhh, yes please! Nicely presented, certainly symmetrical and I should image quite a challenge to synchronise the drops.

The lighting of this intrigues me, and do hope you explan your method once voting is over. A perfectly presented image, my only niggles are with the two small patches of green and purple, lower central, possibly caused by a litle lens flare. I realise that there is little you can do about these in basic editting, but I feel the image warrants further work outside of the challenge as it certainly has that eye-catching 'wow' actor.

9/11 Memorial

This is an interesting memorial, and not one I have seen a photograph of before. I do feel that you could perhaps have made more of the subject, 'though. I would suggest that if you ever visit again, you zoom in closer - or better still physically move in closer; the grass that takes up the lower part of the frame doesn't add anything - all the ineterset is higher up. I like the shadows, and to my eyes, it is this that adds the most interest - by positioning yourself slightly further to the left you would have ben able to maximise on this potential.

This is my favourite of your recent stuff - reminds me of the children's book illustrations of Anthony Browne.

A good choice of subject, but you have been a bit too agressive in post-editting. Of particular note, I would revisit the photo and substantially tone down the saturation.

Well considered composition, with good focus and exposure, but a dull subject that has resulted in, for me, a relatively uninteresting photograph.

Woahh - Vertigo inducing! Very different take on a relatively common subject - nice work! I do like the juxtopisiton of the engineered man-made structure with the natural world. A photo I will revisit in the future.

I feel this would have fitted the challenge better, and provided a more graphic photograph if you had been directly behind the peacock, rather than at an angle.

I love the composition of this, and the subject is one that really appeals to me. There are a couple of things, in my view, that could have improved it even more:
1. The focus seems soft - two possible reasons spring to mind, either it is hand held at too low a shutter speed and a bit of camera shake has been introduced or you are focussing a little too far in to the photo. It may be worth spending a litle time reading up on hyperfocal distances - I struggle with it a bit myself, and am not the best person to explain! The effect of the soft focus is that the texture of the wood, which would add considerable ineterest, and increase the feeling of depth, has not been brought out.
2. I like the subdued colour palette, ad there are some wonderful shades in the water, but overall the photo lacks punch and would benefit from some levels adjustment (or if it has had some, a bit more tweaking), nothing major, just subtle adjustments.
Do bear in mind this is very subjective, and is just my opinion, so do take it with a pinch of salt!
