Good to see you with a new PB, Joe! In the UK, logging is controlled by a government body, The Forestry Commission; only a certain percentage of a wood or forest can be felled at a time and a nature corridor has to be left so that wildlife can move on to a new area.

This must have taken some time to perfect - I wouldn't like to guess how many 'takes' there were before you got it right! I presume you used sparklers as your movable light source - it has produced a very pretty, delicate, almost dream-like effect. Your idea of a treble clef and stave is a good one, and you have executed it well. That said, once the novelty of the idea wears off, there is nothing about the image that makes me want to linger or to pay it a return visit.
