The muted soft background greens are lovely, and a good foil for your subject. This is a good macro, and one that i would have been delighted to have taken, but in terms of DPC it perhaps lacks the sharpness and level of detail that the very best of the insect macros display. A very good base from which to move forward though.

A cute and lively looking baby, but hr does have a rather startled look here. he also looks as though he could have done with a quick wipe over with a flannel before the photo was taken... Nonetheless, a nice one for the family album.

The play of the ripples of the water against the strata of the rocks running an opposing direction is effective. If you get the opportunity to revisit would it be possible to capture the whole of the curve of the bay in the frame?

A Fashionable Outtake

A nicely presented fashion style photograph. The composition and pose has obviously been considered very carefully and this level of attention has paid obvious results. The only slight hesitation I have is with the shadow that falls at the girl's elbow. Very pleasing.

Night at the jazz club

Difficult lighting conditions in which to take photographs. The musicians seem a little distant - less carpet foreground may help to set a more intimate scene, or perhaps taking the photo with just a head of an audience member, or a glass on a table in the immediate foreground to add a greater sense of ambience.
