The Cauchy boundary condition:by taseComment: Differential equations - in fact maths in general - was never my strong point, and I am really struggling to understand the photograph in terms of both its title and the challenge. That said, as an image I do like it - the composition is cool, with its diagonal leading line running from bottom left to top right combined with the dimishing perspective. |

The Contortionistby e301Comment: Looking forward to seeing who the photograpgher is and looking throughthe rest of their portfolio! I have come back to this a number of times over the course of voting saving it for last. The composition is superb with a really strong triangular emphasis. The concept is novel, and works so well - I love the way the mannequin is straring at - or past - her own knee. The vertical light on the wall is perfect in its subtelty. The whites on the arm are blown (at least on my monitor)which doesn't really seem to matter - the only tiny thing I would change (which perhaps could be altered under advanced editing) would be to have a bit more definition on the hand. That said, still a 10 from me. |

Mama,Papa and Meby onarComment: A rather sweet, and certainly interesting, photo - BUT, I don't see any foreground bokeh. |

Bullby raltonComment: An original image where the foreground bokeh adds impact tothe final photo. I like the way that the dart has a feeling of speed - effective and clever. |

untitled...by zohar-halfonComment: The bokeh here certainly compliments, and even adds drama to the main subject. Neither element would be complete without the presence of the other which, to me was what this challenge was about. i would like to see a little more post-processing work done on the portrait section, just to finish it off - but good work. |

Hidden Treasuresby ShutterPugComment: This is really pretty, and very calming. Lovely, subtle work.
Back to bump to 9 - one of my favourite within this challenge. |

Green Burstby jerseyjimComment: Probably my favourite of the challenge, and one of only two 9s that I gave. I like the ambiguity of the photo that allows he viewer to apply their own interpretation. |

Gioiaby RebeccaComment: This was the shot that I tried and tried to get, but completely failed at! Bokeh - both foreground and background - that suits the photo and adds impact and value. |

Illumination by dmaddenComment: One of the few to really nail the challenge (I shot for the challenge, couldn't get the results needed, and so didn't enter - i wish otheres had done the same!) I do like the diagonal composition and play of light. |
