Mean Street Smartsby Herblacklist12Comment: Clever use of the Virgin sign, although I might have been tempted to place the model just a little further to the right of it so that the connection takes a second or two longer for the viewer to make. The stretch limo certainly adds to the feel of the shot - interesting capture. |

won't survive without themby mrsamsaComment: Ambiguous - won't survive without what? Legs, the media, cars, people? Certainly makes me stop, view the photo, and think. |

An Ingenious Gentleman Of Our Days by nutzitoComment: What an intriguing photograph - the old gentleman, almost looking as though he has fallen through the space/time continuum, hands folded and eyes raised to heaven as though in prayer, the modern transport (a minibus pehaps?) and the case placed carefully and neatly in the foreground. |

Automotive maintenance technicianby MelethiaComment: What an incredible photo! The repetitive walls f0rm an interesting lead in line, with the placement of the mechanic spot on. The diagonals make this very strong compositionally - my eye is led in initially by the blue walls then along the back wall to the fr left, and back diagonally via the inspection pit placed on the 'third' to the mechanic. The processing is just right for the photo, with the emphasis on textures. But it is the ambiguity, the story that really makes this. A garage with no car, a mechanic with no work. excellent. |

Proving Groundsby visionistComment: This picture absolutely nail the challenge for me - and is very strong photographically, too. The environmental set couldn't be better if it had been stage managed, but it is the direct eye-contact of the man walking into the shot - challenging, curious - that makes this so very successful. |

The Naylorsby FalcComment: This almost seems to parody the requisite Autumnal fungii photos! |
