Very strong graphic image, with a touch of surrealism. The 'audience' could be watching opera at Glyndebourne or such like, rather than aeroplanes! Well spotted, and very well presented.

Utopia

A photograph to really challenge the viewer. For me the photo suggests the question 'what price our modern capitalist society?', that Utopia is something that human society has sought throughout time, but that emains elusive. I really like the almost accidental snapshot like feel to the composition, which masks a clear intent - sounds like a criticism, but it isn't, for me it really does work very well indeed.

I flew for the first time a few months in over two decades a few months ago, and I didn't like it! This is, perhaps, one of the best aerial photos I have seen: really well composed, and an almost orther-worldly colour palette. Intriguing.
