4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment: I like this very much - the composition is soothing in the way the eye is gently led. The ripples in the water seem like a natural extension of the lines formed by the cobbles. I particularly like the graduation of light from the bpttom left to the top right. Lovely. |

Take the High Roadby neophyteComment: I had this down as E301 - his inspiration has worked; he is the photographer I most admire on DPC. I gave this my second highest vote of the challenge. The composition is superb, the challenge is nailed, and the B&W conversion is excellent with its strong blacks. |
