A Fly-By Shootingby quicheComment: A stuffed bird? A really cool idea for a photo, but the silhouetted background isn't really a strong enough feature to do the photo full justice, I feel. Lighting on the bird is good - flash, I take it, although it has resulted in a rather super-imposed feel.
Revisiting this I wonder if the photo as presented was shot outside in its etirity, or if the landscape background is a pre-taken photo backdrop? |

IMG_1451_2_3-comp.jpgby bobonacusComment: I haven't had many opportunities to get out to the Dales this year (I am assuming it is the Dales?), but this is just what I envisage trying to capture - so far with limited success (read no success). Perhaps I need to experiment some more with HDR.
In to my favourites! |

In-Flight Hazardby tdevoeComment: That is something I have never seen before - excellent timing, and just as well you weren't standing directly underneath! I love the way the second goose seems to be doing an emergency braking manouvre... |

Antique Spoonsby luvmyaussieComment: Very artfully presented. The sepia toning shows the textures to full advantage - a photo I have thoroughly enjoyed viewing. |

Growl ! Snarl ! Woof ? Oh hell.... just back off ! Alright !by MAKamykComment: Blimey, that's close! Well framed and composed, although eye contact would elivate it into the next league. I suspect I would prefer this photo in either colour or B&W - perhaps you have some in your portfolio - I look forward to checking after the voting has finished. |

Southwickby krglComment: The woods are lovely, with really good textural detail, but I find my eyes drawn to the highlights on the deer, which on my monitor appear blown. |
