Blue Dragonflyby MaryOComment: The bokeh is lovely - and helps make for a very quiet and gentle photo. |

Wall flower beforeby timfythetooComment: I love the tousled haired just got up from bed look. The softness is perfect - adds to the feeling of wistfulness. cross this with the edited one, and for me it would be perfect! |

The way he looks…..by gauravComment: Guarav, you have the basis of a good portrait here, with a good pose, and lovely expression. A suggestion for next time would be to stand further away from your background. Also nearly all digital photographs benefit from a little post-processing, even if it is only to shrpen them. If you haven't got any software, try googling GIMP - it is pretty much along the lines of Photoshop, but free! |

Birdby samanwarComment: I shall have to view this again on my monitor at home, as here at work the background appears completely black except for a very small area at the bottom of the frame which may be light reflecting on water. My initial reaction is thta ithis is well composed, crisp and displays a good level of detail. However, for my tastes it appears somewhat over-sharpened which does detract from my overall appreciation.
Edit - A substantially different photo when viewed on my bright screen laptop, and one that comes together far better. Vote amended. |

Wall Flower B&Wby timfythetooComment: I really like this very much - except for the eyes. I can see that I am very much out on my own here, and I guess it just comes down to personal taste, and mine doesn't marry with others, but to me they appear almost soulless, whereas the in the unedited version they feel more like windows letting me in to the child. I am finding it hard to articulate just what I mean - ping me a PM if you wnat me try and explain further! |

IMG_3367-b.jpgby timfythetooComment: Not your strongest work, but I think I prefer this original (out of camera) version to the processed one, although that said, you have heaps of photos of Rowan that I think out absolutely completely and utterly delightful. |
