With a bit more processing this would be really good. As it is, you have a sound composition that nails the challenge, and a model who is acting the part well, but the photo remains flat and dull. If you haven't done so, a levels adjustment would bring more depth to the tonal range.

I loved this when I first saw it, and still do some days on. The graininess really adds to the feel - slightly voyeuristic almost. Really a very well observed and sympathetically photographed, which I would have liked to see finish much higher in the rankings.

Everything about this is excellent - I just don't get why it has finished at 76th behind some such dull photos that are. at the best, technically adequate. Ah well, that's DPC for you!

This has to be one of the funniest photos I have ever seen - I laughed til I cried when I saw this (and God knows, after the week I have had, I badly needed a good laugh...). My three are going in for their respective chops and ops in a week or so - I suspect the veterinary staff could do with this outfit!

Ian, congratulations on a new 'top row' photo - I had actually hoped, and expected to see this finish higher still! Of all the photos of Lauren that I have seen here on DPC, this is by far and away my favourite - a photograph that you should be very proud of. Looking forward to seeing more of your work as you further develop your skills - I suspect that it won't be all that long before you have a whole trail of ribbons!

Beautiful bokeh background - your choice of DoF is spot on, isolating the two dandelion seeds perfectly. Love the title too.
