Now that is SERIOUSLY cute! The focus may be a bit off (tight crop?) but the babies expression makes up for it ten-fold!

Superb use of the two trees as compositional elements. I love the way you show the wide open spaces.

These birds make me smile every time I see a picture of them - they look so unlikely with their big heads, stocky bodies and short tails. A very clear photo with plenty of detail - but perhaps 'Kookaburra lives in the old aerial' doesn't have quite the same ring as 'Kookaburra lives in the old gum tree' - that said, if you get any more photos please post them!

Jeez, that is a little too close for comfort! That said, it might be quite cool at 2' and 18mm - perhaps you could give it a try? ;¬P

I just can't believe what a wonderful journey to work you have. Yes, I am definitely envious! The composition works well, with plenty of space for the deer to flee in to the moment it is spooked.

Another good bird photo with a really good catch-light in the eye. I don't know this type of bird at all - we don't have them in the UK certainly. In body shape they resemble a stocky sparrow - are they in the same family? The highlight in the background works well, setting off the bird nicely - would never have thought it was from a hubcap!

For me this was the top photo in the challenge. In to my favourites so that I can find it again - one that I certainly will want to revisit again and again.

I am astounded that this didn't resonate with more voters. It was in my top 3 of the challenge.
