It'a Water Under the Bridgeby BAMartinComment: How cold that water looks! The pose of the would-be surfer adds to the sense of coldness - he does look rather reluctant to join his fellow surfer! |

Look to the futureby snafflesComment: I looked at this for some time when I first went through the photos in the challenge. It reminds me of myself, and that made me uncomfortable. I see a feeling of anxiety, of concern; that the photo encourages some viewers to explain it in terms of their own experiences and character is a strength of the image and the way in which it is presented. Thank you for entering it. |

Potomac Winterby levyj413Comment: I voted this unjustly low when voting - I gave all photos at least two viewings, but for some reason although I looked at this, I didn't really SEE it. I really like the patterns of the snow on the frozen river. The perfectly lit domed building peeking out provides the perfect foil to the wide vista. |

windowby posthumousComment: I like this, not least because I am a cat lover. I like the way the windows reflected in the bottom pane fly out from themselves. I like the way the reflection of the trees appears to be the dream of the cat. I like the way the reflection of the same building in the two different panes appears to be two different scenes. |

Salt Marsh at Winter's Endby Bear_MusicComment: I remember thinking this might be yours when I voted. The grasses intrigue me with the patterns they make - I wonder if they lie flat because of the weight of the snow that has rested on them, or because of flooding from the stream. A really pleasing composition. |

walkingby jaysonmcComment: I like this a lot, it evokes feelings of care-free summers. I think it appeals to my romantic notion of the person I want to be... |

...he loves meby bmartuchComment: She certainly looks a little gem - I really liked the way her body was turned away from the viewer, and that she was turned towards us - it somehow gives the feeling that the viewer has called out to her and she has turned to see who is calling. A very pleasing portrait. |

Flawlessby raishComment: Flawless, indeed - I actually gave this a 4 for the fact that I liked the concept. |
