This really is balletic - lovely, although a little less noise on the bird (there is also the hint of a 'selection' line above the bird's back), and this would have been a 10 from me. As it stands, a solid 8.

Back to bump this up from the initial harsh 2 that I gave it on first viewing. Catching these birds in flight is incredibly difficult, and that you have succeeded at all is good. That said, I suspect you would have been better not to crop in so tight, and to have the bird smaller in the frame - that would have had two benefits, it would appear sharper and so attention wouldn't be drawn to the focus, and it would give a bit more context and appear more 'natural'.

At first glance I thought this was a soft toy, but looking at it closer, it seems that you have masked off the dog from the background - unfortunately the masking is a little too obvious to be effective.
