Freshly Squeezedby giantmikeComment: That knife is rather menacing! A good range of tones from black through to white, although I can't decide if the channel mix you have chosen altogether suits the oranges. |

Baker's Delightby DCNUTTERComment: A good tonal range of white through to black, and an interesting but not confusing range of textures. I broadly like the composition, but do feel that there are areas that could be improved - the frame is filled, giving a fairly rectangualr feel to the composition; I wonder if a triangle towards the top, perhaps through differing heights of bottles/jug, might give a more dynamic feel. The diagonal placement of the chopping board and rolling pin work well. I would like to see what it would look like with the bowl of eggs placed to the right - as it is, they are the first thing I see, and then my eyes wander across the frame to the bowl and scoop which, whilst important to the 'story', are nothing like as aesthetically pleasing. |

Musicby SEGComment: I like this a lot - simple, effective. The lighting, with the narrow band picking out the grooves works very well. |

In the lightby IreneMComment: Good control of your light - I particularly like the way it manages to bring out the texture of the glass, no mean feat! In terms of composition, I would have preferred a centimetere and a half (about 3/4") chopped from the bottom, and on a really pernickity note, I would prefer the background/base join to be more blended on the right hand side. All in all, though, very good work. |

SIM_1803by SimmsComment: Ok, now I get why you have to wash lettuce leaves that have been picked straight from the garden! |

Layla by RamblinRComment: I was composing my comment while looking at the photo, and then scroll down to see that Kelli has beaten me to it almost word for word! They look like they will make a wonderful family - Dad does look very tired, and almost shell-shocked! |

Daisy Daysby reneekerrComment: A perfect title for the image. Wonderful softness and muted colours, yet displays a very real sense of vibrancy and life. |
